It seems the karmic justice currently manhandling Harvey Weinstein is not done with him yet despite being fired from his Powerhouse Studio, and his wife leaving him. The Board of Governors of The Academy of Motion Pictures Arts and Sciences just announced their decision to expel Harvey Weinstein. This joint decision from this reputable body followed a stream of accusations against the producer by more than 12 women, including actresses like Angelina Jolie, Gwyneth Paltrow, and Rose Mcgowan, who claims she raped her in a hotel room when she was 22. The Academy’s Board of Governor arrived at this decision, believing that Weinstein does not deserve the respect of his colleagues.
However, Weinstein is believed to be somewhere in Europe seeking therapy, but we can’t help but ask, therapy for what exactly? For sexually assaulting women ?
He still claims through his spokeswoman that all sexual relations between him and the women accusing him were consensual, and denies raping anybody.
Meanwhile, The Board vows to continue to “establish ethical standards of conduct that all academy members are expected to exemplify.”
