Rochas Okorocha is determined to leave his mark on Imo State-and he has no qualms about whether the state survives his mauling or not. He has gone about this in the most determined fashion, sparing no expense and deafening his ears to the protests of his naysayers. His courage and doggedness is something that every Nigerian needs to emulate. What state does not need a multi-million naira statue project? What state wouldn’t greatly benefit from a Commissioner for Happiness and Couples’ Fulfilment?
Those must have been his thoughts when he chose his new cabinet. He also thought of who would be the best person for the job, and no other person but his own sister, Mrs. Ogechi Ololo, came to mind. After all, it’s better to keep things in the family!
The new Commissioner for Happiness and Couple’s Fulfillment is tasked with…I don’t know what exactly. Maybe statewide mass weddings? A dating site? All you can eat buffet on Sundays? How about the state salaries being owed and basic infrastructure? That would surely make the people of Imo State happy!
I’m pretty sure it’s not legal to just make up your own State Commissions, sir. If it was, I’d have started a petition for a Commissioner of Ice Cream and Cake in my state. But who are we to tell you that you’re a ridiculous, power-hungry poser with no real agenda in mind for Imo State? All we can hope is that the state recovers from your supposed “impact” on it after you have left office. Unless you plan to stay on as Life Governor, since we’re all being childish.
What a joke!
